Using Hop

This section is the practical guide to getting things done in Hop — from getting access to a published flow people can reach.

The big picture

A typical journey through Hop looks like this:

  1. Get access — Hop accounts are created by invitation. → Getting access
  2. Build a flow in the Flow Builder, or import one from an XLSForm. → Creating flows
  3. Publish the flow and connect it to a short code so people can reach it. → Short codes
  4. Collect and review the structured responses the flow produces.

Key features

  • Flow Builder — assemble and edit flows visually.
  • XLSForm import — author in a spreadsheet and bring it in.
  • Short codes — give each flow a memorable entry point.
  • Responses — structured data from every completed flow.
  • Organizations & teams — collaborate with your colleagues in a shared workspace.
